Resource: Down + Out: Where Grace Takes You
back

We're terribly excited to announce a new video curriculum for congregations, families and individuals. Entitled Down + Out: Where Grace Takes You, the resource explores the theological relationship between faith and daily life -- justification and vocation.

Luther Seminary President Richard Bliese, who is featured in the series, explains, “If we focus exclusively on justification, we narrow God’s mission to salvation.  But justification and vocation taken together frees us to ask the question, ‘How does God call me to love the world?’ ”

Down + Out: Where Grace Takes You includes six video episodes, filmed in high-definition, of approximately 20-25 minutes each, plus discussion questions and study aids. In addition, a 32-page companion workbook is available to help viewers apply what they learn to their own experience. Small group leaders can download the workbook and make up to 1,000 copies for their congregation.

Episode 1: Up/Down [Length 24:00]
Episode 2: In/Out [Length 20:30]
Episode 3: Wanna/Gotta [Length 22:00]
Episode 4: Creatures/Creators [Length 25:00]
