Idea:
Improved Faith & Life Survey
back
We're excited to unveil an improved version of our
faith and life congregational survey this month. Refining the
tool based on the responses of over 10,000 congregants, the new tool
achieves greater results with fewer questions.
What's new?
- Fewer questions (32
down from 50 questions):
- allows
participants to take the survey in less time
- simplifies
interpretation and application (fewer responses to review)
- Overall satisfaction
questions at the conclusion of each section (About Me & About My
Church).
- Two new demographic
questions ("employment" and "frequency of prayer") allow for more
precise filtering of the data and comparisons with the broader U.S.
population.
What's stayed the
same?
- Gives congregations
a baseline understanding of how well they are equipping folk for their
daily callings in God's world.
- Retains the most
powerful questions from previous surveys. (If your congregation
took the survey a few years ago, you can still make comparisons
between then and now.)
- Divides questions
into two parts: About Me, About My Church
In summary, the
Centered Life Survey, already proven to be both reliable and
valid, became simpler to administrate and interpret with this revision.
