Resource: Ministry in a Post-Modern Context
back

Allelon: A Movement of Missional Leaders (www.allelon.org) provides a host of resources for thinking through the "roles and structures" questions surrounding the vocationally aware missional church.

Alan Roxburgh frames the question nicely in his series of articles, Missional MapMaking: An Art of the Mission-Shaped Church:

"How do we equip people for the challenges of being God’s witnessing community when it feels like the maps that once worked so well no longer apply to the new territory in which we find ourselves? Today, irrespective of age or vocation, we live in a time when our maps prove less anduless reliable guides."

And Brian MacLaren begins to shape a response to these questions in a series of talks (downloadable to your MP3 player) entitled, "Ministry in a Post-Modern Context."  Here's the direct link to Part I:  http://www.allelon.org/media/files/MPMC_mclaren_01.mp3
